The Plumber's Career
I can earn six figures as a plumber? Are you joking?

Spare us the plumber jokes. We've heard them and we're still laughing. Laughing all the way to the bank.

Demand for plumbers is high. Supply of plumbers is low. Do the math

Journey Level plumbers fresh from four-year paid apprentices can earn from $30,000-$55,000+ per year, instead of owing half of that amount in student loans.

Why the shortage?

"It’s an uphill battle with educators and parents to get them to see the short-term and long-term earning potential of construction trades—especially plumbing and HVAC,” said Thomas W. Holdsworth, director of communications for SkillsUSA.

It is estimated that the US will need
almost 500,000 plumbers and pipe fitters
in the next several years.

"It's work. Sometimes it's nasty, but I find it really rewarding."

There's a reason the plumber's slogan is The Plumber Protects the Health of the Nation. Guys like Brian are right on the front lines of disease prevention. It's also part of the reason why plumbers make so much money.
